In the midst of climate change and global warming issues, PT Bumiyasa Indonesia Energi (BIE) was established in 2010 with the purpose to produce alternative energy in order to conserve the environment and land of Indonesia. This is the principle which we have been valuing and following to date, as we thrive year by year to create and distribute new and renewable energy throughout the archipelago.

Started out with Mini Hydro Power Plants, PT BIE has successfully provide new and renewable energy in western and central Indonesia, and will continue to expand all the way to eastern Indonesia. With eight subsidiaries to date, we are proud to say that we keep evolving and improving ourselves. This is proven with our latest progress in building Hydroelectric Power Plants in order to produce a larger amount of new and renewable energy for all to use.

With many projects in hand, both current and future, PT BIE will continue striving for greener environment through the production of alternative, renewable energy as well as nurturing Indonesian human resources.

PT BIE specializes in renewable energy, particularly in Mini Hydro Power Plants (PLTM). To date, we have successfully operated five PLTMs across Indonesia:

1. PLTM Cijampang – 1.1 MW (Cianjur, West Java)

2. PLTM Niagara – 1.7 MW (Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan, South Sumatra)

3. PLTM Logawa – 3.00 MW (Banyumas, Central Java)

4. PLTM Komering – 1.40 MW (Ogan Komering Ulu Timur, South Sumatra)

5. PLTM Koro Kabalo – 2.20 MW (Tojo Una-Una, Central Sulawesi)
